Our story is rooted in Alexander County, in the foothills of North Carolina, where furniture making has shaped the community for generations. The region’s rich tradition of craftsmanship lives on in our workshop today, carried forward by skilled craftspeople with decades of experience. Their hands touch every Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams piece. Patterns are carefully developed, fabric is cut and stitched by hand, and frames are assembled, reinforced, upholstered, and tailored with precision and care. At the heart of it all is a deep sense of pride in making furniture and making it well.

Choose from more than 300 carefully curated fabrics and leathers or provide COM, then specify cushion comfort and finishing details. Dimensions can be tailored to the inch and seating configurations customized, allowing each design to take on a character of its own and feel at home in a wide range of settings.
